Nanaimo, BC V9T 3K7 or email info@uwci.ca
Objectives:
Submissions must satisfy one or more of the following and should not be a duplication of existing services:
- Programs which strengthen families and their ability to cope
- Programs which provide youth (9 - 30) with the opportunity to connect to their community and develop the skills to positively participate in their community
- Programs which promote the capacity of community members to create and live in a vibrant and resilient community.
Evaluation Process:
- Proposals will be assessed in a fair and transparent manner in applying the evaluation criteria. To this end, each proposal will be evaluated by a panel comprised of community representatives who are not directly involved in projects that potentially could receive United Way funding. Organizations will receive an on-site visit arranged at a mutually convenient time.
